Colin Kinley
Colin is responsible for the leadership and overall management of Kinley Exploration. His hands-on approach to working with a multi-disciplinary team helps ensure successful integrated project management from idea to corporate organizational structure, project execution definition and communication to the capital markets.
Colin is a Founder and Managing Director of Jet Mining Pty Ltd, based in Perth Australia. Jet provides Hydraulic Borehole Mining (HBHM) Technology to the Australian regional mining markets. The company is providing technical engineering advisory services for the Prefeasibility, Feasibility, Pilot and mining of minerals by Hydraulic Borehole Mining. Kinley has worked for over 25 years, specifically in the development of engineered bulk sampling and development of HBHM mining equipment and technologies. Jet provides unique services for the targeted mining of: Diamonds, Uranium, Tin, Gold, Mineral Sands and unique, difficult access and submerged high value soft ores.
Colin is a Director & COO of Eco Oil and Gas Services (Pty) Ltd. For this Namibia based project he is managing the evaluation of 13 Million Acres offshore and onshore Namibia. The Kinley team is the Operator and is selecting leads and targets for 3D Seismic offshore, and drilling of offshore and onshore wells. Colin just completed interpretation and oversight of the release of a NI-51-101 Report on the Cooper offshore block: 1.15 Billion Barrels of Oil.
Colin, until most recently, served as President and COO of Adira Energy Ltd. (TSX) For this Israel based project he has been responsible for all exploration activities on an offshore well. Kinley just completed management of the resource interpretation and of the release of a NI-51-101 Report on the Yitzhak and Gabriella blocks: 1.6 Billion Barrels of Oil (BOE) Contingent and Prospective. Colin continues as Strategic Advisor and Director of Adira.
Colin is currently a Director of Excelsior Mining Corp. (TSX) an insitu copper company with recently confirmed reporting of 3.21 Billion pounds of Copper (Indicated) and 1.26 Billion Pounds of Inferred. Kinley brings to this company specialized expertise on drilling technologies, fracing and executive oversight.
Having recently signed a 10 year exploration agreement with the Thunderchild First Nation in Saskatchewan, Canada, Colin and team, through their new Canadian entity Tonare Energy, will explore and develop this new 140,000 acre heavy oil development through both cold (CHOPS) and thermal production.
Colin spent 26 years as an executive for Layne Christenson Company and its predecessor companies. He was instrumental in helping Layne achieve recognition as one of America’s best and fastest growing companies, listed by DeMarche Associates and Forbes respectively.
