Kinley is Operator for Eco Oil and Gas, a leading junior oil and gas player in the burgeoning offshore Namibia Oil play. Kinley prepared applications for, and participated in the negotiations resulting in the award of Six Million acres of offshore licenses and Seven Million acres of onshore licenses to Eco. The Kinley team will lead exploration for Eco on the licenses including approximately 2500 Kilometers of 3D and the resultant processing and interpretation. Kinley will also be responsible for the drilling of three wells offshore and the drilling and testing of onshore Shale and CBM wells. The company in currently evaluating existing 2D and has recently completed, in conjunction with Gustavson Associates on behalf of Eco, the interpretation and finalization of an initial 1.15 Billion Barrel Oil find on the first of Eco’s offshore blocks named “Cooper”.
